We
can’t believe another tournament week has flown by! For those of you who are
sad that the RBC Heritage (a Team RSM favorite) is over,
have no fear! Dr. Tony Parker, World Golf Hall of Fame historian, recently
reviewed memorabilia items from Team RSM Member Davis
Love III and the RBC Heritage on the Golf Channel. Watch the full
video here: https://www.golfchannel.com/video/world-golf-hall-fame-memorabilia-davis-love-iii/
Speaking
of the Hall of Fame, according to The Gazette, golf professional Larry Gladson
will be inducted into the Iowa Golf Hall of Fame on Thursday at Glen Oaks
Country Club in West Des Moines. Larry was also Team
RSM Member Zach
Johnson’s youth coach and only has great things to say about him, as
exemplified in this excerpt here:
“You can’t get through a conversation with
Larry Gladson without talking about Zach Johnson. That’s just the way it is.
Gladson will forever be linked to the PGA star from Cedar Rapids. And he’s OK
with that. ‘Zach has had a major influence on golf in the state of Iowa,’ he
said.”
And
in other highlights from the week, Team RSM Member
Andy Sullivan was featured on the
European Tour’s Twitter page for having one of the best five shots of the week!
Watch his incredible shot here.
This week in tournament news, the Valero Texas Open is back. Joining
Zach will be fellow Team RSM Member Chris Kirk playing at the AT&T
Oaks Course at TPC San Antonio. Past RSM Classic winners Austin Cook (2017), Mac Hughes (2016) and Ben Crane (2011) will be playing,
as well.
