The RSM Classic: The Best of Golf, and More

Today’s update is from Alissa Hatch, who is based out of RSM’s San Antonio office. Alissa had the opportunity to visit Sea Island for The RSM Classic this year, as a result of her leadership role in raising charitable funds for deserving children- and family-focused nonprofits through the firm’s Birdies Fore Love initiative. Read Alissa’s  first-hand account about her time at the 2017 RSM Classic below.

I had a wonderfully unique experience at The RSM Classic. My husband and I were given true VIP treatment as RSM guests, with beautiful accommodations at The Cloister and access to the RSM chalet with a perfect view of the 18th hole. I was impressed by how the tournament, and all the planning ran like clockwork.

The highlight for us on Saturday was attending the Jake Owen concert.  We entered from backstage, and had a VIP section right in front of the stage.

After walking around the course a bit on Sunday, we returned to the RSM chalet to follow the final players as they completed their rounds at the 18th. We had the absolute best view as Gay made his eagle shot from over 100 yards. Our excitement was still high when soon after Cook made his winning shot.

I am so thankful for the opportunity to have  attended The RSM Classic.
