It’s (nearly) a wrap

This week’s Franklin Templeton Shootout marks the last PGA TOUR event of 2016. Team RSM Member Davis Love III was scheduled to play, but due to some lingering pain in his surgically repaired hip, he decided to withdraw and get a bit more rest.  2015 RSM Classic winner Kevin Kisner is participating and we wish him the best of luck; we hope he finishes the year strong!

It’s mindboggling how quickly the year has come and gone. Before we know it, we’ll begin the planning process for the eighth annual RSM Classic. If you haven’t heard already, the 2017 date has been selected. Mark your calendars for Nov. 13-19 and join us at beautiful Sea Island to experience the tournament first-hand.

If you have a few minutes and you missed last week’s update, we encourage you to take a look at that post for a look at a clip from the Sat., Nov. 19 Folds of Honor contest during tournament week. This was a new addition to the tournament this year, and supports our ongoing focus on stewardship. Giving back to the community is also one of the values we share with the game of golf – and one of the reasons we’re involved in the sport. We’re thankful to have the opportunity to give back to those in need around the country, and appreciate the platform that The RSM Classic and the Davis Love Foundation provide to expand our efforts.

Be sure to join us next week for the latest on Team RSM and The RSM Classic!
