At the risk of sounding like a bit of a broken record, we had another BEAUTIFUL day here at Sea Island yesterday (Wed., Nov. 16).
Team RSM Member Davis Love III covered a lot of ground – and not just on the golf course! We spotted him at a press conference and at a separate interview with CNN’s Patrick Snell in the majestic trophy room at The Lodge.
The afternoon ended with a putting contest where groups of Special Olympics and Boys & Girls Club athletes teamed up with PGA TOUR Professionals for a little friendly competition. RSM US LLP leaders served as scorekeepers for the event, and the winning team took home coveted RSM Classic Putting Challenge trophies. All athletes also went home with special Birdies Fore Love Rice Crispy treats
Shortly after the putting contest, RSM clients and friends gathered at The Cloister for an invitation-only acoustic concert by country music singer Cole Swindell.
We also had an opportunity to catch up with one of our “Inside the Ropes” participants to get her thoughts about her experience with private equity clients as part of the Monday Pro-Am. Here’s what she had to say:
As someone who follows the game of golf, this was an incredible experience. From seeing the Ryder Cup, walking one of the most beautiful golf courses in the country to the unparalleled access the world’s best golfers, these were moments I will never forget. Being able to share these experiences with clients makes it even more special.” – Kappy Lang, Chicago
Today, we started things off at 7 a.m., ET with a series of on-air interviews with Sirius XM Radio’s Matt Adams, author of Fairways of Life, and now…we’re hitting the course.
Check back soon for the next update from the 2016 RSM Classic.
