It’s (Not) All About Golf

Tues., Nov. 15 was another busy day at Sea Island, as activities related to the seventh annual RSM Classic continue in full swing. A number of RSM leaders talked with Team RSM Member Chris DiMarco on his morning radio show, and Team RSM members Zach Johnson and Davis Love III both participated in the filming of “fireside chats” with RSM leaders. We’ll be sharing those videos shortly following tournament week, and hope you will enjoy the casual conversation and the insights into Zach’s and Davis’s games, thoughts on teamwork, etc.

We also had an opportunity to catch up with a couple of our “Inside the Ropes” participants to get their thoughts about their Monday afternoon experience with private equity clients as part of the Monday Pro-Am. Here’s what they had to say:

“The Inside the Ropes program was a great way to see the success of RSM in action. The RSM Classic further develops our relationship with clients as their First Choice Advisor. I consistently heard the Classic described by clients as a top-notch event down to every detail.” – Ray Ross, Chicago office

“It was amazing to experience the magnitude of this event firsthand and meet some of the top names on the PGA tour. I felt proud seeing the RSM logo all over Sea Island. But most importantly it was a wonderful opportunity to get closer to our clients and the RSM partners in a setting where everyone was excited and having fun.  I am very thankful for the opportunity.” – Susie Warsal, Baltimore office

The highlight of the day, for both golfers and non-golfers alike, appeared to be the Pro-Am Drawings Party at the home of Davis and Robin Love – spectacular venue and Southern Hospitality at its finest!

Check back regularly throughout the course of the tournament for more sights and insight from The RSM Classic.
