While Team RSM members aren’t playing in this week’s RBC Canadian Open, we do have a few fellows we will be cheering for! Playing this week are past RSM Classic champions Ben Crane (2011), Chris Kirk (2013), Robert Streb (2014) and Kevin Kisner (2015). Ben started the day at 7:40 a.m. ET from tee No. 10; Chris tees at 12:55 p.m. from tee No. 10; then Kevin and Robert are in the same group starting at 1:25pm from tee No. 10. Best of luck to all our “guys” this week!

And on a related note, Team RSM member and 2016 Ryder Cup US Team
Captain Davis
Love III conducted another Q&A session with RyderCup.com about the
action from last week’s Open, how the U.S. Ryder Cup team is shaping up and
other golf-related topics. When asked about how he’s recovering from surgery,
Davis responded:
“It's going great. The only problem
is the doctors and therapists holding me back. I feel so much better than I
was. The problem is I want to do Week 3 of rehab when I'm only on Week 2. The
doctors and therapists have been on me to pump the breaks and stick to the
plan. I need to calm down. Even though I'm bummed out about having to miss the
PGA Championship and defending the Wyndham Championship, I'm so happy I got it
done.”
Sounds as if Davis is the very definition of a “speedy recovery,”
which makes those of us at RSM very happy! You can read the full interview here.
And speaking of Davis, the 2016
Friends of the
Foundation, a charitable program
administered by the Davis Love Foundation to benefit Sea Island-area nonprofits, is now underway. The program helps charitable organizations raise money by selling
$20 raffle tickets for the chance to win a new 2016 Buick Verano, courtesy of Nalley Automotive of Brunswick, GA. One hundred percent of the money
collected through the raffle is distributed back to the participating
charities. Are you part of a charity and interested in applying for this great
program? You have until Aug. 1 to submit your registration
forms. Get
all the details here.
We look forward to sharing the latest updates on Team RSM and the
2016 RSM Classic (Nov. 14-20) with you next week. Be sure to check back!
