It’s a bitter sweet week for Team
RSM member Zach Johnson. With it being
the week of The Open, it was time for Zach to say goodbye to the Claret Jug,
after “owning” it since his win in last year’s tournament. However, he IS playing
in this week’s tournament so…he could be the proud owner of the Jug for another
year – fingers crossed! Do you think Zach will bring home the Jug again? If
not, who do you think has the best chance of lifting it? We’ll find out soon.
In the meantime, Zach had a little fun sharing his sad ‘goodbye’ to the Claret
Jug on Twitter. Check out the photos he posted.
Joining Zach in Scotland is
fellow Team RSM member Andy Sullivan, along with past RSM Classic winners Chris
Kirk (2013),
Robert Streb (2014)
and Kevin Kisner (2015).

Best of luck to all “our guys” during this week’s tournaments!
In other state-side news, Team
RSM Member Davis
Love III underwent a successful arthroscopic hip surgery last week. He
expects to make a full and complete recovery, and is looking forward to serving
as U.S. team captain for the 2016 Ryder Cup, September 30 through October 2 at
Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, MN. You can read further details on www.rsmclassic.com!
Davis also recently filmed a
video with Ryder Cup USA team members at beautiful Sea Island (home of The RSM Classic).
It’s a great video where Davis shares interesting stories while reflecting on
some of the past US Captains. You can watch the it here.
Be sure to stop by next week
for new updates on Team RSM
and the 2016 RSM Classic!
