“When I heard about the rough and strategy it would take at
Oakmont -- playing smart -- I figured it played right into Zach's hands. You
gotta be the bomber guy who hits it a mile and can gouge it out of that rough,
or you've got to be the tactician and that's Zach.
Zach's last
two tournaments were at Colonial and Oakmont -- two very different courses --
and he played really well at both places. He makes up on strokes gained with
the wedges and putter all the time. He's not short, but he's not going to
overpower a course. He will outthink it though.”
