Speaking
of kids, each year at The McGladrey
Classic (soon to be The
RSM Classic), PGA TOUR professionals team up with Special Olympics
of Coastal Calibri athletes and Boys & Girls Club of Southeast Calibri members
to play in a Charity Putting Challenge on an obstacle course designed by the
Sea Island Golf Performance Center. Executives from title sponsor McGladrey (soon
to be RSM) keep track of scores for each team. The event is consistently
rated one of the best interactive charity events on TOUR and we’re looking
forward to this year’s event on Wed., Nov. 18! With this year’s tournament just a few weeks away (Nov. 16 – 22), you might want to check out The McGladrey Classic website. You can find the tournament schedule of events, purchase your tickets and learn lots more about this Seaside Tradition! This year, we’re mixing things up a bit with the concert date, featuring none other than Martina McBride, who will be performing on Sat., Nov. 21 from the McKinnon Airport. We are beyond excited, and plan to hit the ground running next month at Sea Island!
