This week, Team McGladrey
Members Zach
Johnson and Davis
Love III are in Orlando for the Arnold Palmer Invitational. They’re in
great company, as past McGladrey Classic winners Ben Crane (2011),
Chris Kirk (2013)
and Robert Streb (2014)
are also playing. Tournament play started today (Thurs., March 19), with Chris teeing
off at 8:11 a.m. ET from tee No. 1; Davis teed of at 8:25 a.m. ET from tee No.
1 and Robert teed off at 8:35 a.m. from tee No. 10. Zach tees off at 1:08 p.m.
from tee No. 10 and Ben tees off at 1:32 p.m. from tee No. 10. Best of luck to
all our “guys” this week!
With
spring time just around the corner (tomorrow!), our thoughts are turning more
and more to golf, and The McGladrey Classic, in particular. #DidYouKnow: 1,200
volunteers come together each year to help make the McGladrey Classic a success?
We are thankful for such great support from our of these supportive volunteers
and we’re looking forward to seeing them again in November for the 2015 McGladrey
Classic at Sea Island. And speaking of the tournament, we’re moving to two courses of play this year: Seaside and
Plantation. Not only will this increase the player field but it’ll also
increase our need for volunteers! Registration for returning volunteers and
newcomers will open soon. As in previous years, returning volunteers will have
the first chance to sign up, followed by sign-ups for newcomers, which will be
on a first-come, first-served basis. We’ll be sure to keep you updated on those
dates so you can mark your calendars! In the meantime, you can stay connected
on the Volunteer
Registration communication list.
Throwing in another round of
‘Spot the Difference’ this week: try finding the five things that are different
between these two photos. Leave your guesses in the comments section!
Check back next week to
learn the latest updates on Team
McGladrey and the 2015 McGladrey Classic (Nov. 16-22)!
