It’s a “Break Out The Bubbly” Kind of Week

Sea Island has popped the bubbly to celebrate seven consecutive years of being awarded four Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star ratings. Sea Island, home of The McGladrey Classic, is known for their gracious hospitality and luxurious accommodations and is the only resort IN THE WORLD to earn four Five-Star ratings for seven years in a row! We’re impressed! The four awards were:

Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Hotels
The Cloister, Sea Island
The Lodge at Sea Island Golf Club, St. Simons Island

Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Restaurant
Georgian Room, Sea Island Golf Club, Sea Island

Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Spa
The Spa at Sea Island, The Cloister, Sea Island

Congratulations to our extended McGladrey Classic “family” members and friends on this recognition!

Speaking of our McGladrey Classic family members, Team McGladrey Member Davis Love III is in California for the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am. Davis tees off at 8:11 a.m. PST from tee No. 10 on the Spyglass Hill course. Also at Pebble Beach is a few past McGladrey Classic winners: Heath Slocum (2010), Tommy “Two Gloves” Gainey (2012) and Chris Kirk (2013). Go get ’em, boys!

Team McGladrey Member Chris DiMarco made a guest appearance earlier this week on The Golf Channel’s Morning Drive to show amateurs on a simulator how to play the fifth and 12th holes at Pebble Beach.

Now for a little fun…let’s see how good you are at spotting the differences! Can you identify five between the two photos below?

We wish our readers a Happy Valentine’s Day this coming weekend, and hope you’ll stop by next week for more on The McGladrey Classic and Team McGladrey.
