Ball + Hole = Zach Johnson’s Shot!

Last Sun., June 15, at the U.S. Open, Team McGladrey member Zach Johnson made a hole-in-one on the ninth hole at Pinehurst #2! It was incredible to watch and we loved the captured celebratory reaction that Don MacKenzie, who is also the photographer at The McGladrey Classic, was able to snap. In case you missed Zach’s hole-in-one, check out the pics below for a good look at Zach’s celebration:

This week, Zach is in Connecticut for the Travelers Championship. He tees off at 1pm E.T. from tee No. 1. For those unable to tune in to the Golf Channel, you can follow along live from your computer, phone or tablet. Best of luck this week, Zach. We’d love to see history repeat itself this week with another hole-in-one!

As we’ve mentioned previously, The McGladrey Classic’s Birdies Fore Love program (the charitable arm of the tournament) officially kicked off this past Mon., June 16. As a reminder, Birdies Fore Love focuses on helping nonprofit organizations exceed their fundraising goals to help those in need, while sharing the excitement of The McGladrey Classic. Contributors to the program are asked to make a $10 minimum donation to a Birdies Fore Love participating charity. Once The McGladrey Classic has concluded, each charity will receive 100 percent of the donations collected in its name. Since its inception in 2012, Birdies Fore Love has raised more than $500,000 for charity. Please help us in our continuing efforts to support national and local charitable organizations through this program. Make your donation here or complete the Official Donation Form. One-hundred percent of your donation is applied to the charity you select, and your donation is tax deductible as a charitable contribution. You also have the option of entering the “Guess the Birdies” contest for a chance to win the Grand Prize: a 2014 Buick Verano, courtesy of our friends at Nalley Buick GMC!  Read complete rules and enter to win!

Stop by next week for more updates on Team McGladrey and The McGladrey Classic (Oct. 20-26)!
