In case you haven’t been keeping up with it, we’re continuing to receive player commitments for this year’s tournament. Webb Simpson recently committed to the McGladrey Classic. Check out the player field so far and let us know your thoughts!

Last week, we weren’t able to share the imagery from the Seaside Course since we had a special guest blog post from Zach Johnson! This week, we will show you holes 14 and 15.

Hole 14 of the Seaside Course is a Par 4 playing 442 Yards. It has averaged 4.13 strokes and yielded 171 birdies in the first 3 years. A slight dogleg to the right, this hole has marshland and a dune to the left and a fairway bunker, dunes and a strategic cluster of trees guarding the right side of the fairway. The slightly downhill approach requires accuracy to the long, narrow green with marshland to the left and long.

Hole 15 of the Seaside Course is a Par 5 playing 562 Yards. It has averaged 4.48 strokes and yielded 597 birdies and 61 eagles over the first 3 years. The second par 5 on the Seaside Course is a dogleg-left with huge bunkers short, left and beyond the corner. This will challenge long hitters to hit their drives over the bend for a chance to reach the green in two. The second shot has water to the left and dunes to the right. The green is 55 yards deep with bunkers on the left and front-right that are nearly as large as the green.
Team McGladrey Members Zach Johnson and Davis Love III are in Las Vegas for the Shriners Hospital for Children Open. Zach and Davis are in the same group (#15) which teed off at 7:23am today (Oct. 17). Best of luck at this week’s PGA TOUR event!

Check back next week for a status update on how preparations for The McGladrey Classic tournament are coming along and Team McGladrey.
