This week, Team McGladrey Member Zach Johnson is in Lake Forest, IL for the BWM Championship. Zach is in group #2 which teed off at 10:31 a.m. Team McGladrey Member Chris DiMarco is in Columbus, OH for the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship. He’s in group #42, teeing off at 1:58 p.m.
This week’s course highlight is hole 10 on the Seaside Course. It’s a par 4 playing 426 yards, which has averaged 3.99 strokes and yielded 224 birdies in the first three years. This straightaway par 4 has a tidal creek to the left and marshland and a steep fairway bunker to the right. The approach is to a narrow elevated green which slopes back to front. A deep bunker guards the front of the green and collection areas lie to the right and left. To date, which hole has been your favorite?

While we’re on the topic of volunteering, McGladrey has a long history of giving back to the communities where our employees live and work. (Insert hyperlink to the Community page of our website.) It’s in that spirit that we have made it a priority for our firm to support the Davis Love Foundation’s Birdies Fore Love (BFL) program. This program supports children- and family-based charities by allowing participants to pledge by either dollar amounts or per birdie at the McGladrey Classic. This year, thousands of McGladrey employees across the country will support the BFL program through a unified, coordinated effort led by employee volunteer Chris Parrish. Learn more about the Birdies Fore Love and how you can participate on The McGladrey Classic site.
Check back next week for more updates on Team McGladrey and The McGladrey Classic – now less than two months and counting...
