Signs of the Times...and of The McGladrey Classic





Below is a recap of activities at The McGladrey Classic – from RSM McGladrey’s senior director of sports marketing Ricki Lasky. She’s updating the blog daily, so check back in with us tomorrow, as well. And remember to take our online poll to let us know who you think will win the inaugural McGladrey Classic.

What a thrill it was to see The McGladrey Classic tee off yesterday morning! And enhancing that “high,” were the numerous positive comments we received from clients and other guests as they walked the course, and shared their stories during last night’s client/potential client reception.

The white background of the McGladrey Classic signage and the underpinning used for the hospitality suites makes our logo “pop” against the green of the course – and people are noticing! Several guests commented about what a big firm McGladrey must be, based on the quality of the event, and the fact that we are literally “everywhere” here on the island. And it’s been fun watching people purchase items sporting The McGladrey Classic logo from the merchandise tent, and even more fun to see them wearing them on and around the course.

Finally, one of my favorite parts of yesterday – even though I wasn’t personally in attendance – was the players’ party for PGA TOUR professionals and their families, hosted by Robin and Davis Love III at their home. The children enjoyed a bouncing tent, and took home hats and caps featuring the McGladrey Classic logo. We’re told we’ll be getting a picture of that soon – can’t wait to see it!
